For the past 2 days i've been thinking a lot. About life, about friendship and about honesty.
Yes.. something had happened.. is it bad or is it good? i dont know but i believe in God's promise.. everything happen with a good reason. All i know is i feel very calm and contented now. I dont really care at the moment what was the reason behind the mess.
I have been forced to make a big decision in a very short time on that night whether to help others get something that others want or to stand up with my believe. One question i asked myself at that very moment; if let say one day my children come to me asking my advise whether to lose a dear friend or to lose your ethical believe, what would be my answer? I then know the answer within a moment.. choose the later. That is how i made that decision on that night. How others judge me is up to them. If other feels that they must attack me in the facebook, do it. I am not accusing what others did was wrong, they have their own reason and i respect what ever their decision is but my loyalty is to amanah Allah to me, not to other human being.
Attacking me in the FB, in the short messaging system, removing me from their friend list.. it will not destroy my dignity but yours. I am ok. As i wrote in one of my entry a few months ago: What friendship means to me is friends who never try to change me, can accept me for who I am and do not have any intention to backstab me. So i guess the others who removed me from their friend list are the ones who feel that i'm having to many weaknesses and I'm quite glad they did it so i dont have to be their second list of friend anymore and i do not need to feel being manipulated anymore. Things happened with good reasons.
Anyway, all this small mess is uncomparable to what other people are facing. Some facing with death, sickness, hunger and poverty. So who are we to complain? I consider myself as a very lucky person; to have my family, Encik D, CK, ce_mnor, stebeng, PY and quite long list of sincere friends and not to forget all my furry companions. So for those who sometimes feels like i feel occasionally; that we are not lucky enough; all we need to do is open our eyes.. see the world a in much bigger angle and dont forget that thank Allah for all that we have and the best way to heal is to forgive and forget.
Wallahualam.

ReplyDeletewhen other people thought you were working slow...who stood up for you..
ReplyDeletewhen other people thought you ran away...who told your side of the story...
when other people offered me a job..who submited your resume..even though the person wanted to go there but thought you deserved it more...
i guess asking for things that is rightfully ours..(yes out of my own sweat and plus my employer owns the data)just because your pendrive masuk virus ..not 3D inversion code boys and girls...is unethical, taking advantage and manupulating...
and i guess me confronting you through sms personally is worse than you publishing your side of the story on the net...
yes..Allah knows better..insyaAllah
and yes kak zu...i agree with your quote...allahualam..
and of couse..i planned the whole backing you up..submiting your resume, asking emgs to raise your salary and supporting your miscarriages..
ReplyDeletejust to lastly ask for a copy of my paper..
of course i am that great to plan and manupulate...
